<br />DES:djk 11/09/93 <br /> <br />(006/37) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />11/15/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />12100 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR THE <br />HAZARD ELIMINATION SAFETY PROJECT JEFFERSON/ <br />MIDDLEFIELD, JEFFERSON/MARSHALL, VETERANS/BREWSTER <br />TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATIONS; AND AUTHORIZING AND <br />DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />contract <br /> <br />documents <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Hazard <br /> <br />Elimination <br /> <br />Safety <br /> <br />Project <br /> <br />Jefferson/Middlefield, <br /> <br />Jefferson/Marshall, <br /> <br />Veterans/Brewster - Traffic Signal Modifications, Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, <br /> <br />have <br /> <br />been <br /> <br />presented <br /> <br />to, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />reviewed <br /> <br />by, <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />desires <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />signify <br /> <br />its <br /> <br />approval <br /> <br />thereof and authorize and direct the City Clerk to advertise for <br /> <br />bids for the work therein described; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Those <br /> <br />certain documents entitled <br /> <br />"Contract Documents <br /> <br />for Hazard Elimination Safety proj ect - Jefferson/Middlefield, <br /> <br />Jefferson/Marshall, <br /> <br />Veterans/Brewster <br /> <br />Traffic <br /> <br />Signal <br /> <br />Modifications - City of Redwood City, California", prepared by <br /> <br />the Department of Community Development, Engineering Division, a <br /> <br />copy of which documents are on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />advertise for bids for the performance of the work of improvement <br /> <br />hereinabove described. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />~ -_._--~.._-_._---_. <br /> <br />----- <br />
