<br />DES:djk 11104/93 <br /> <br />(004/37) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />11/15/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />12099 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE MUNICIPAL SERVICE <br />CENTER CONTAMINATED SOIL REMOVAL/DISPOSAL PROJECT; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12078, adopted September <br /> <br />27, <br /> <br />1993, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Municipal <br /> <br />Service <br /> <br />Center <br /> <br />Contaminated <br /> <br />Soil <br /> <br />Removal/Disposal <br /> <br />Project, <br /> <br />Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to said advertisement, <br /> <br />eleven bids were <br /> <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br /> <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Delich <br /> <br />Construction <br /> <br />Services <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />San <br /> <br />Bruno, <br /> <br />California, <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />lowest <br /> <br />responsible <br /> <br />bidder <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />it <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />intention <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />desire <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />accept <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />bid <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Delich Construction Services; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of Delich Construction Services, in the amount <br /> <br />of Seventy-five Thousand Two Hundred Fifty and No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($75,250.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated <br /> <br />October <br /> <br />27, <br /> <br />1993, <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Municipal <br /> <br />Service <br /> <br />Center <br /> <br />Contaminated Soil Removal/Disposal Project, <br /> <br />is hereby accepted, <br /> <br />and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br /> <br />11/04/93) <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br />
