<br />JAH:dft lQ/23/93 (008/36) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />11/8/93 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />12096 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING REVOCABLE PERMIT <br />FOR INSTALLATION OF IDENTIFICATION SIGN FOR SEQUOIA <br />STATION SHOPPING CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Safeway Inc., desires to place and install a sign <br /> <br />identifying the Sequoia Station Shopping Center within the median <br /> <br />strip of James Avenue lying just easterly of El Camino Real; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />desire <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />grant <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />revocable permit for the installation of the above-mentioned sign <br /> <br />to Safeway, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a <br /> <br />revocable <br /> <br />permit <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />Safeway <br /> <br />Inc. , <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />place <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />install <br /> <br />one <br /> <br />identification sign wi thin the property of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />Ci ty more particularly described <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />such permit, <br /> <br />which permit <br /> <br />shall not be effective until such time as Safeway Inc., executes <br /> <br />an acceptance of the terms and conditions of such permit. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />That the permit granted shall be in the form of that <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />permit <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Revocable <br /> <br />Permit" <br /> <br />(form <br /> <br />dated <br /> <br />11/08/93RR) attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set out <br /> <br />at length herein. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />.."'.. -- -"-"." ..-..
