<br />DES:djk ~ <br /> <br />'05/93 <br /> <br />(122/34) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />10/25/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />12089 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />--- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE WATERMAIN REPLACEMENT <br />PROJECT 1993-1994 (PHASE I); AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br />SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12074, adopted September <br /> <br />13, <br /> <br />1993, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Watermain <br /> <br />Replacement <br /> <br />Project <br /> <br />1993-1994 <br /> <br />(Phase <br /> <br />I) , <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City, <br /> <br />California; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />advertisement, <br /> <br />six <br /> <br />bids <br /> <br />were <br /> <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br /> <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Stoloski <br /> <br />& <br /> <br />Gonzalez, <br /> <br />Inc. <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Half <br /> <br />Moon <br /> <br />Bay, <br /> <br />California, <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />lowest <br /> <br />responsible <br /> <br />bidder <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />it <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />intention <br /> <br />and desire <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />accept <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />bid <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Stoloski & Gonzalez, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of Stoloski & Gonzalez, Inc., in the amount of <br /> <br />Seven Hundred Twenty Thousand Six Hundred <br /> <br />Seventy <br /> <br />and No/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($720,670.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated September 29, 1993, for the Watermain Replacement <br /> <br />Project 1993-1994 (Phase I), is hereby accepted, and said bidder <br /> <br />is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br /> <br />for said work. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br /> <br />10/05/93) <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br />
