<br />DES:djk n.9/24/93 <br /> <br />(019/34) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />10/4/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />12086 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE OF SIX VEHICLES; <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the <br /> <br />Code of the City of Redwood City, the City Manager caused public <br /> <br />notice inviting bids to be published for the purchase of six (6) <br /> <br />vehicles to be used for municipal purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />publication <br /> <br />three <br /> <br />bids <br /> <br />were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />S & C Ford, Inc. of San Francisco, California is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to accept the bid thereof; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The <br /> <br />bid <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />S <br /> <br />& <br /> <br />C <br /> <br />Ford, <br /> <br />Inc. , <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />San <br /> <br />Francisco, <br /> <br />California, in the total amount of Eighty Thousand Five Hundred <br /> <br />Twenty-six <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />10/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($80,526.10) , <br /> <br />computed <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated September 20, 1993, <br /> <br />for the sale of six <br /> <br />( 6) <br /> <br />vehicles which bid is on file in the <br /> <br />office of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for <br /> <br />the full particulars thereof, is hereby accepted, and said bidder <br /> <br />is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br /> <br />for the sale of said vehicles to the City. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br /> <br />said S & C Ford, Inc. are, and each of them is, hereby waived. <br /> <br />..- .--..."
