<br />FXS:dft <br /> <br />9/27/93 (003/36) <br /> <br />O.R I GIN A L <br /> <br />10/4/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />12084 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT WITH CHILD CARE COORDINATING COUNCIL <br />OF SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> <br />(EDUCATION FOR AT RISK PARENTS) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Child <br /> <br />Care <br /> <br />Coordinating <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />San <br /> <br />Mateo <br /> <br />County <br /> <br />("Contractor" ) <br /> <br />conducts a child care subsidy program for school <br /> <br />age teen parents in the City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Contractor has requested <br /> <br />financial <br /> <br />assistance <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />order to conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing <br /> <br />July 1, 1993, and ending June 30, 1994; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> <br />and desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Nine Thousand <br /> <br />and No/lOO <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($9,000.00) <br /> <br />from <br /> <br />its Community Development <br /> <br />Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an agreement providing for such funding has been <br /> <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled, <br /> <br />"Child Care Coordinating <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />School <br /> <br />Age <br /> <br />Mothers <br /> <br />Program, <br /> <br />(Education <br /> <br />For <br /> <br />At <br /> <br />Risk <br /> <br />Parents)", <br /> <br />(form dated <br /> <br />(9/23/93) , <br /> <br />by and between <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo <br /> <br />County, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the <br />
