<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />DES:djk OQ/17/93 <br />9/27/93 <br /> <br />(118/34) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />12077 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR TENNIS COURT RENOVATIONS <br />AT MEZES, SPINAS AND SHOREBIRD PARKS; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING <br />RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to Resolution No. 12029, <br /> <br />adopted August <br /> <br />16, <br /> <br />1993, <br /> <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for tennis court <br /> <br />renovations at Mezes, Spinas and Shorebird Parks, Redwood City, <br /> <br />California; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to <br /> <br />said advertisement, <br /> <br />seven bids were <br /> <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br /> <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Interstate Grading <br /> <br />& <br /> <br />Paving, <br /> <br />Inc. <br /> <br />of South San <br /> <br />Francisco, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is <br /> <br />the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to <br /> <br />Interstate Grading & Paving, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of Interstate Grading & Paving, <br /> <br />Inc., in the <br /> <br />amount of One Hundred Fifty-two Thousand One Hundred Seventy-five <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />66/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($152,175.66) , <br /> <br />computed <br /> <br />in accordance with <br /> <br />said bidder's proposal dated September 15, 1993, for tennis court <br /> <br />renovations <br /> <br />at <br /> <br />Mezes, <br /> <br />Spinas <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Shorebird <br /> <br />Parks, <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. <br />09/17/93) <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br />
