<br />'RIGINAL <br /> <br />DES:djk ()~/30/93 <br />13/93 <br /> <br />(117/34) <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />12071 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF ONE (1) COLOR <br />PLOTTER FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, <br />ENGINEERING DIVISION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />written <br /> <br />bids <br /> <br />without <br /> <br />public <br /> <br />advertisement <br /> <br />were <br /> <br />solicited <br /> <br />for the purchase 0 f one <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />Color Plotter <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Department of Community Development, Engineering Division; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />solicitation <br /> <br />three <br /> <br />bids <br /> <br />were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bay Reprographic of Redwood City, California is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to accept the bid of said Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of Bay Reprographic for the sale of one <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />Hewlett-Packard Design Jet <br /> <br />650C Color Plotter to the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City in the net amount of Nine Thousand Seven Hundred <br /> <br />Fifty and 97/100 Dollars ($9,750.97) <br /> <br />(including $1,000.00 credit <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />trade-in <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />one <br /> <br />City-owned <br /> <br />CalComp <br /> <br />Color <br /> <br />Plotter) <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />accordance with said bidder's Quotation No. 4337 dated July 27, <br /> <br />1993, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to <br /> <br />be the lowest responsible bidder in response to solicitation for <br /> <br />bids without advertisement for said Plotter. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br /> <br />Bay Reprographic is, and each of them are, hereby waived. <br />
