<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />( <br /> <br />5-93) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />12064 <br /> <br />8/30/93 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />WI&H YOUTH AND FAMILY ASSISTANCE (SOUTH COUNTY DIVERSION PROGRAM) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Youth & Family Assistance (South County Diversion <br />Program) has been established for the principal purpose of diverting <br /> <br />youth from the Juvenile Justice system and to provide a delinquency <br />prevention capability for families and agencies; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Youth & Family Assistance (South County Diversion Program) <br />has requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its <br /> <br />activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1,1993 and ending <br />June 30, 1994; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br />desires to pay Youth & Family Assistance (South County Diversion <br /> <br />Program) the sum of THIRTY-ONE THOUSAND TWO-HUNDRED AND NINETY AND <br />NO/lOO DOLLARS ($31,290.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Youth & Family Assistance <br /> <br />(South County Diversion Program) and it is the intention and desire of <br />this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8-15-93), by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and the Youth & Family Assistance (South <br /> <br />County Diversion Program) copy of which agreement is on file in the <br />office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for <br /> <br />full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City. <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />"",".""....""",, __"m' """-""""--"-"--------""""-"'."""""""
