<br />\.J R I GI N A L <br /> <br />(8/15/93) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 12061 <br /> <br />8/30/93 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK OF SANTA CLARA <br />AND SAN MATEO COUNTIES/FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Second Harvest Food Bank, has been established <br />for the principal purpose of providing a constant source of <br /> <br />donated food to twenty-one emergency box programs in Redwood City. <br />WHEREAS, The Second Harvest Food Bank a California non-profit <br /> <br />corporation, has requested financial assistance for use by it in <br />conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1993 <br /> <br />and ending June 30, 1994; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> <br />desires to pay to The Second Harvest Food Bank the sum of FIVE-THOUSAND <br /> <br />EIGHT-HUNDRED AND EIGHTY AND NO/lOO DOLLARS ($5,880.00) AND; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood and The Second Harvest Food Bank <br /> <br />and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement form dated 8-15-93, by and between <br />the City of Redwood City and The Second Harvest Food Bank, copy of <br /> <br />which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk to which <br />copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br /> <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br />to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />... - m ---- <br /> <br />, "" " <br />..
