<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />3-15-93) <br />8/30/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 l UTI 0 N N O. 12059 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH PENINSULA VOLUNTEERS, INC. <br />ROSENER HOUSE-ADULT DAY SUPPORT CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. has been established for the <br />principal purpose is to provide gerontological services to mid-peninsula <br /> <br />seniors. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. has requested financial <br />assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal <br /> <br />year commencing July 1, 1993 and ending June 30, 1994; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. sum of THREE-THOUSAND THREE <br /> <br />HUNDRED TEN AND NO/lOO DOLLARS ($3,3l0.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Peninsula Volunteers, <br /> <br />Inc. and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the <br /> <br />same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8/15/93), by and between <br />the City of Redwood City and Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the Office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br /> <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />* * * <br /> <br />..~_._"""-"-"'"--'_..,,"""'",.._- <br />
