<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />(8- <br /> <br />12057 <br /> <br />-93) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />8/30/93 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH BATTERED WOMEN'S SERVICES OF SAN MATEO COUNTY <br />AKA LA CASA DE SAN MATEO. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Battered Women's Services of San Mateo County has been <br /> <br />established for the principal purpose of providing shelter and <br /> <br />support services to battered women and their children in San Mateo <br />County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Battered Women's Services of San Mateo County has requested <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during <br /> <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1993 and ending June 30, 1994; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Battered Women's Services of San Mateo County the sum <br /> <br />of SEVEN THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FORTY AND NO/IOO DOLLARS ($7,840.00); <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Battered Women's <br /> <br />Services of San Mateo County and it is the intention and desire of this <br />Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement form dated (8-15-93), by and between <br />the City of Redwood City and Battered Women's Services of San Mateo <br /> <br />County, a copy of which agreement is on file in the Office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars <br /> <br />thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized <br />and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />"".""""'.""'"""""""-'-----"'.'-"-------""-----""."'"",-""-----,,,"""- <br />
