<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 12055 <br /> <br />(8-15-93) <br />8/30/93 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH HUMAN INVESTMENT PROJECT, INC. (HIP) <br />HOMESHARING HELP AND INFORMATION PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Human Investment Project, Inc. (HIP) is a private, non-profit <br /> <br />agency with the principal purpose of finding housing solutions for residents of San <br /> <br />Mateo County who cannot afford to buy a home or pay market rents in this county; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Human Investment Project, Inc. (HIP), has requested financial <br /> <br />assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year <br /> <br />commencing July 1, 1993 and ending June 30, 1994; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City has reviewed said request and desires to pay to the Human Investment Project, <br /> <br />Inc. (HIP) a private, non-profit agency the sum of NINE-THOUSAND EIGHT-HUNDRED <br /> <br />AND NOIlOO DOLLARS ($9,800.00) AND, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an agreement <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City and the Human Investment Project, Inc. (HIP) and it <br /> <br />is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8-15-93), by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Human Investment Project, Inc. (HIP) a copy of which agreement <br /> <br />is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for <br /> <br />full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby <br /> <br />authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City. <br /> <br />00._"_" ,-"-"- ---"""-' ._,,",," <br />
