<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />(8-15"~) <br />8/30/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />12053 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH FRIENDS FOR YOUTH, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Friends For Youth has been established for the principal <br />purpose of providing volunteer intervention services to troubled youth <br /> <br />in the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, Friends For Youth, Inc. has requested financial assistance <br /> <br />for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 1993 and ending June 30, 1994; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br />desires to pay to Friends For Youth, Inc. the sum of THREE-THOUSAND AND <br /> <br />SIXTY AND NO/IOO DOLLARS ($3,060.00) and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Friends For Youth, Inc. <br /> <br />and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8-15-93), by and between <br />the City of Redwood City and Friends For Youth, Inc., a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, <br />and the City Manager is authorized and directed to execute the same <br /> <br />for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />.. . <br /> <br />......"....-.._-,.."..._..c.__.-~..- <br /> <br />----'--'-"" ,_m'..." <br />
