<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />(8-15-93) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 12052 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH EMERGENCY HUNGER FUND OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />8/30/93 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Emergency Hunger Fund of Redwood City has been <br />established for the principal purpose of providing emergency food, <br /> <br />housing and transportation assistance to residents of the City of <br />Redwood City, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Emergency Hunger Fund of Redwood City has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities <br /> <br />during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1993 and ending June 30, <br />1994; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Emergency Hunger Fund of Redwood City the sum of <br /> <br />TWELVE-THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED-FIFTY AND NO/I00 DOLLARS ($12,150.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Emergency Hunger Fund <br /> <br />of Redwood City, and it is the intention and desire of this Council <br />to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8/15/93), by and between <br />the City of Redwood City and Emergency Hunger Fund of Redwood City, <br /> <br />a copy of which agreement is on file in the Office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars <br /> <br />thereof is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized <br /> <br />and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />- .. -- -. . .,"----.-..--.,,-, ,"",_...
