<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />DES:èHk 02/01/93 <br /> <br />(043/34) <br /> <br />2/8/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 11941 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR <br />SITE INVESTIGATION AND CHARACTERIZATION RELATING TO <br />CITY CENTER PARKING STRUCTURE <br /> <br />(WAHLER ASSOCIATES) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />requires <br /> <br />environmental <br /> <br />engineering services <br /> <br />for site investigation of subsurface soil <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />groundwater <br /> <br />contamination <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />specified <br /> <br />areas <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />Center Parking Structure site in the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />(the <br /> <br />"Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Wahler Associates, <br /> <br />Geotechnical and Environmental <br /> <br />Engineers, <br /> <br />represents <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />it <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />qualified <br /> <br />on <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />basis <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />experience and expertise to perform the unique aforesaid services <br /> <br />required for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Agreement <br /> <br />Environmental <br /> <br />Engineering <br /> <br />Services <br /> <br />For <br /> <br />Site <br /> <br />Investigation <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Characterization - City Center Parking Structure", <br /> <br />(form dated <br /> <br />02/01/93) <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California and Wahler Associates, of <br /> <br />Palo Alto, California, <br /> <br />for the performance of said services, <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />which <br /> <br />copy <br /> <br />reference <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />hereby <br /> <br />made <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />full <br /> <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved and the City Manager and <br /> <br />City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and to <br /> <br />attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />-....., ,.., , --, -, <br />
