<br />6. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />Insurance. Permittee shall furnish to the City public liability and property <br />damage insurance naming the City of Redwood City, its Council, boards, <br />commissions, officers, employees, and agents as insureds, or additional <br />insureds, insuring the same against all claims for personal injury or death <br />to any person or persons resulting or arising from the conducting of the <br />activities herein permitted, or alleged to have resulted or alleged to have <br />arisen therefrom, or from any act or omission to act, of permittee in <br />connection therewith, in the amounts of $1,000,000 for each person and <br />$1,000,000 for each occurrence, and property damage insurance for <br />damage or injury to, or destruction of property, including the loss of use <br />thereof, in the amount of $500,000. Evidence of such insurance <br />coverage in form satisfactory to the City shall be furnished by permittee <br />to the City at least ten (10) days prior to commencement of the event. <br /> <br />Damage to Public Property. Permittee shall reimburse the City for the <br />costs for any damages to City owned property, caused by or arising out <br />of, the conducting of the activities permitted hereunder, or the acts, or <br />omissions to act, of persons participating in said event. All signs or <br />other markings placed in or upon public property, including the public <br />right of way in connection with the activity with shall be removed <br />immediately following said event. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />Compliance With Laws. Permittee shall comply with al,1 appropriate and <br />applicable rules, regulations and laws in connection with the conducting <br />of said event, or any activities associated therewith. This permit shall be <br />in addition to all other permits, which are or may be required for <br />conducting said event, or any activity associated therewith. Specifically, <br />Permittee shall obtain necessary state permits and county health <br />permits. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />Hold Harmless. Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify <br />and save harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council, officers, boards, <br />commissions, employees and agents from all suits, actions, damages, or <br />claims to which the City may be subjected of any kind or nature <br />whatsoever, resulting from or arising out of the performance or failure to <br />perform of permittee hereunder, or otherwise arising from or arising out <br />of said event herein permitted. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />City Services: The City agrees to provide the following: <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Normal police patrol during the event; <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Notification signs the parking lots will be closed from 7:00 am <br />on March 27, 1993 until 7:00 pm if that same day. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Additional or further matters.
