<br />Dates and Time. The Carnival shall be held from twelve o'clock noon
<br />on July 2, 1993 and end at 8:00 PM on July 5, 1993, from 10 AM until 1 0
<br />PM. Set up time will begin at 6:00 PM on July 1, 1993. The site will be
<br />cleared by 5: 00 AM, July 6, 1993. The Carnival shall not operate on
<br />July 4, 1993 until after 1 :00 PM or the end of the July 4 th Parade,
<br />whichever is later.

<br />Insurance. Permittee shall furnish to the City public liability and property
<br />damage insurance naming the City of Redwood City, its Council, boards,
<br />commissions, officers, employees, and agents as insureds, or additional
<br />insureds, insuring the same against all claims for personal injury or death
<br />to any person or persons resulting or arising from the conducting of the
<br />activities herein permitted, or alleged to have resulted or alleged to have
<br />arisen therefrom, or from any act or omission to act, of permittee in
<br />connection therewith, in the amounts of $1,000,000 for each person and
<br />$1,000,000 for each occurrence, and property damage insurance for
<br />damage or injury to, or destruction of property, including the loss of use
<br />thereof, in the amount of $500,000. Additionally, Butler Amusement Inc.,
<br />shall name the City an additional insured on their $3,000,000 liability
<br />policy. Evidence of such insurance coverage in form satisfactory to
<br />the City shall be furnished by permittee to the City at least ten (10) days
<br />prior to commencement of the event.

<br />7.

<br />Damage to Public Property. Permittee shall reimburse the City for the
<br />costs for any damages to City owned property, caused by or arising out
<br />of, the conducting of the activities permitted hereunder, or the acts, or
<br />omissions to act, of persons participating in said event. All signs or '
<br />other markings placed in or upon public property, including the public
<br />right of way in connection with the activity with shall be removed
<br />immediately following said event.

<br />Compliance With Laws. Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and
<br />applicable rules, regulations and laws in connection with the conducting
<br />of said event, or any activities associated therewith. This permit shall be
<br />in addition to all other permits, which are or may be required for
<br />conducting said Carnival, or any activity associated therewith.
<br />Specifically, Permittee shall obtain necessary state permits and county
<br />health permits.
<br />
<br />Hold Harmless. Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify
<br />and save harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council, officers, boards,
<br />commissions, employees and agents from all suits, actions, damages, or
<br />claims to which the City may be subjected of any kind or nature
<br />whatsoever, resulting from or arising out of the performance or failure to ,
<br />perform of permittee hereunder, or otherwise arising from or arising out
<br />of said carnival herein permitted.
