<br />DES:d~~ 01/22/93 (041/34) <br />0 RIG I N A L 2/8/93 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11936 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br />TWO (2) XEROX 5052 COPIERS UNDER THE COOPERATIVE <br />PURCHASE PROVISIONS OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES BID <br />BPA #010580105 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.80 the City <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />Ci ty may <br /> <br />request <br /> <br />any <br /> <br />local <br /> <br />agency <br /> <br />as <br /> <br />defined <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />54201 <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />California <br /> <br />Government <br /> <br />Code <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />materials, equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />County <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Los <br /> <br />Angeles, <br /> <br />Bid <br /> <br />BPA <br /> <br />#010580105 <br /> <br />includes <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />Cooperative <br /> <br />Purchase <br /> <br />provision which <br /> <br />offers <br /> <br />other <br /> <br />public agencies the opportunity to purchase equipment from Xerox <br /> <br />Corporation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the aforesaid bid of the County of Los Angeles <br /> <br />conforms to the requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />two <br /> <br />( 2) <br /> <br />Xerox <br /> <br />5052 <br /> <br />Copiers <br /> <br />from <br /> <br />Xerox <br /> <br />Corporation <br /> <br />pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase provision of the County of <br /> <br />Los Angeles Bid BPA #010580105; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all necessary and appropriate documents for and on behalf <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City for the purchase of two <br /> <br />(2 ) <br /> <br />Xerox <br /> <br />5052 <br /> <br />Copiers <br /> <br />from Xerox <br /> <br />Corporation <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />cost <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Thirteen <br /> <br />Thousand Three Hundred Eighty and No/100 Dollars ($13,380.00) per <br /> <br />, ,-.. -, ,-_. -, <br />
