<br />Should roadwork in the stated parade route and festival area not be <br />completed to allow these activities to take place as planned, alterations to <br />the parade route and festival area shall only be permitted under the direction <br />and approval of the Chief of Police or his designee. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />Dates and Times: The parade, festival, and fireworks display shall be <br />conducted on Monday, July 4, 2005. The parade line-up and staging area <br />shall be reserved between 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The parade route shall be <br />reserved from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The start time of the "Fun Run" will be <br />at 9:00 a.m. and the parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. The fireworks display <br />will begin at 9:30 p.m. and conclude at approximately 10:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The arts & crafts fair and festival closure shall begin at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, <br />July 3, 2005 through 8:00 p.m. July 4th, 2005. This event shall be conducted <br />from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 4th. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />Insurance: Permittee shall provide the City commercial general liability <br />insurance coverage for any and all activities permitted hereunder in the <br />amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, naming <br />the City, its City Council, commissions, committees, boards, officers, <br />employees, and agents (collectively, the "City-insureds") as insureds or <br />additional insureds. If the City-insureds are covered as additional insureds, <br />the Permittee shall provide endorsements to the policy which shall provide <br />that: (i) said insurance shall be primary insurance with respect to the City- <br />insureds, (ii) apply separately to each insured against whom claim is made <br />or suit is brought, except with respect to the limits of the insured's liability <br />(cross liability endorsement), and (iii) name the City-insureds as additional <br />insureds. Permittee shall furnish evidence of such insurance coverage in a <br />form satisfactory to the City at least ten (10) days prior to commencement of <br />the event. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />Damaae to Public Property: Permittee shall reimburse City for the costs <br />for any damages to City-owned property in the vicinity of the designated <br />areas, caused by or arising out of the conducting of the event permitted <br />hereunder, or the acts or omissions to act of persons participating in said <br />event. All signs or other markings placed in or upon public property, <br />including the public right-of-way in connection with said event, shall be <br />removed immediately following said event. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />Compliance With Laws: Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and <br />applicable rules, regulations, and laws in connection with the conducting of <br />said event or any and all activities associated therewith. This permit shall be <br />in addition to all other permits that are or may be required for conducting this <br />event, or any associated activity.
