<br />DES:djk 12/06/91 <br />~~ <br /> <br />(127/28) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the regular County Assessment Roll is utilized by <br /> <br />this City with respect to property taxation pertaining to the <br /> <br />Annexing Territory; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Annexing Territory will be taxed for existing <br /> <br />general bonded indebtedness of this City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Annexing Territory is <br /> <br />"uninhabited" <br /> <br />(as <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />term is defined in Govt. C. §56046); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Local <br /> <br />Agency <br /> <br />Formation <br /> <br />Commission <br /> <br />has <br /> <br />authorized this Council to approve this annexation without notice <br /> <br />and hearing and without an election; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The Annexing Territory is hereby ordered annexed to the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />a municipal corporation of the State of <br /> <br />California. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The Annexing Territory is hereby ordered detached from <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Oak <br /> <br />Knoll <br /> <br />Sewer <br /> <br />Maintenance <br /> <br />District <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />extent <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />Territory overlaps said District. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />The Annexing Territory is hereby ordered detached from <br /> <br />the Emerald Lake <br /> <br />Heights Highway Lighting District to the extent <br /> <br />said Territory overlaps said District. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />The Annexing Territory shall be subject to the existing <br /> <br />general bonded indebtedness of this City. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />The City Clerk <br /> <br />is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />transmit a certified copy of this Resolution to the Executive <br /> <br />2 <br />
