<br />DES : ~l31f <br /> <br />12/06/9l (126/28) <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />December 16, 1991 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11654 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR STREET LIGHT PROJECT, <br />1991; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; <br />AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to Resolution No. 11625 <br /> <br />adopted October <br /> <br />21, 1991, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Street Light <br /> <br />Project, 1991; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to said advertisement, <br /> <br />twelve bids were <br /> <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br /> <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Community Electric, <br /> <br />Inc. , <br /> <br />San Rafael, <br /> <br />California, <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to accept the bid of said bidder; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of Community Electric, Inc., in the amount of <br /> <br />Three <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />Thirty-three <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />Five <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />No/IOO <br /> <br />Dollars ($333,500.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated December 3, <br /> <br />1991, <br /> <br />for the Street Light proj ect, <br /> <br />1991, <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and <br /> <br />said bidder <br /> <br />is hereby <br /> <br />found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. <br />12/06/91) <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />a municipal <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California and Community Electric, <br /> <br />Inc., providing for the aforesaid improvements, a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the Office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, <br /> <br />11654 <br />
