<br />DES:djk 10/21/91 (105/28) <br />DES:djk I 29/91R <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />11/4/91 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11634 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE OF DEFIBRILLATORS <br />AND RELATED EQUIPMENT AND CONDITIONALLY AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City's Fire Department acted in <br /> <br />the capacity of lead agency for a joint bid request including the <br /> <br />cities of Woodside and Pacifica for the purchase of equipment for <br /> <br />the implementation of a semi-automatic defibrillation program; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, <br /> <br />two <br /> <br />( 2) <br /> <br />bids were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Laerdal Medical Corporation, Armonk, New York, <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to accept the bid of said company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of Laerdal Medical Corporation, <br /> <br />Armonk, <br /> <br />New <br /> <br />York, for the purchase of equipment for the implementation of a <br /> <br />semi-automatic defibrillation program at a total bid price of <br /> <br />Thirty-four Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-seven and 50/100 Dollars <br />($34,367.50.00) and associated costs computed in accordance with <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />bidder's <br /> <br />proposal <br /> <br />dated <br /> <br />September <br /> <br />12, <br /> <br />1991, <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />hereby <br /> <br />accepted; <br /> <br />said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for said equipment for said program. <br />
