a RIG I N A L 11/4/91 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 11632 - - - - - - - - - - RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH PENINSULA CONFLICT RESOLUTION CENTER, INC., FOR IMPROVING NEIGHBORHOOD AND COMMUNITY COMMUNICATION WHEREAS, Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center, Inc. , a non-profi t corporation of the State of California, hereinafter known as "Contractor'. , is presently engaged in the operation of a community boards program whose purpose is improving neighborhood and conmunity conmunication, in furtherance of the public order, health and welfare in the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, Contractor has represented to City that it is qualified and experienced to perform said services; and WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center, Inc., wherein the City shall provide Twenty-Two Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($22,000.00) during the fiscal year from July 1, 1991 through June 30,1992 and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: That certain agreement (form dated #2.1, by and between the City of Redwood City and Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center, Inc., a California non-profit corporation, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and behalf of the City of Redwood City. * * * ".,. . .".,--.,..-- .."..."'.,...-..-'.---..,...-......'..........-'.----....
