~ ßATEMENT SERVICES AGREEMENT DUPLICA TE OHiGINAL The SAN MATEO COUNTY MOSQUITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT ("District") and CITY OF REDWOOD CITY C'Owner") agree as follows: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. The District will perform abatement services for the Owner's problem site as described below. The District will, as reasonably necessary, develop and implement mosquito surveillance and contro I activities with its own personnel, materials and equipment at the problem site. Problem site: the catch basin storm drain system in the presently developed areas of Redwood Shores. Owner shall reimburse District at a rate of $11.00 per hour, not to exceed 200 man hours per year. The District will bill Owner for actual services rendered. Owner will pay for such services within 30 days of receipt of each bill. The occurrence of any unusual problems that would require additional manpower, equipment and materials, will necessitate a change order as an addendum to this agreement. It is understood that any changes would be mutually agreed to prior to the initiation of the order. All additional costs related to change orders would be negotiated separately. This agreement shall be effective from June 1, 1982 through May 31, 1983. Either party may terminate the agreement upon 30 days prior written notice to the other party. During the term of this agreement both contracting parties specifically waive the right to use the abatement procedures set forth in Health and Safety Code sections 2272 through 2289, inclusive.
