No. 4-1752-C <br />Document No. SM-41-/qZ7~ <br /> <br />COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, ENTERED INTO ON <br /> <br /> <br />, lS <br /> <br />between <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />STATE <br /> <br />OF CALIFORNIA, acting by and through its De- <br /> <br />partment of Transportation, referred to herein as STATE, and <br /> <br />CITY OF Redwood City, <br />a body politic and a municipal <br />corporation of the State of <br />California, referred to herein as <br />CITY. <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />(1) STATE and CITY, pursuant to <br /> <br />Streets <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Highways <br /> <br />Code Sections 114 and 130, are authorized to enter into a Cooper- <br /> <br />ative Agreement for improvements to State highways within CITY. <br /> <br />(2 ) <br /> <br />STATE and CITY contemplate installing traffic con- <br /> <br />trol signals and safety lighting and performing roadwork <br /> <br />at <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />intersection <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Route <br /> <br />84 (Woodside <br /> <br />Road) and Union Avenue, re- <br /> <br />ferred to herein as "PROJECT", and desire to <br /> <br />specify <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />terms <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />conditions <br /> <br />under <br /> <br />which <br /> <br />PROJECT <br /> <br />is to be engineered, con- <br /> <br />structed, financed, and maintained. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br />DUPLICATE ORIGINAl <br /> <br />< «<---<-_.0<.«----«<-'-««----'- ~ <br /> <br /><-¡-<--"<---«<------ < <br />
