We will evaluate the potential sources of detected chemioaJs as well as the distribution of chemicals in the soil and groundwater. Task 3 - Report Preparation SCI will prepare a written report that describes the scope of work completed, the resultS of the assessment activities, our conclusions. regarding the presence and/or significance of hazardous materials contamination and our recommendations foe further work. if necessary. The report will include a site plan. lists of agencies contacted aerial photoJl.'8Ph& reviewed. regulatory agency databases <:oosulted, boring logs. and laboratory analysis reports. The report will be submitted to the City Redevelopment Agency. Depending on tbe findings of the study, the City may be required to submit a copy of the report to the County. We will obtain the City's authorization before submitting the report to the County. FEE ESTIMATE AND SCHEDULE scr will perform the services described above on a time-and-expense basis in accordance with the enclosed Sc:hedu1e of Charges, Serv~ Agreement" and Terms and Conditions. Our estimated fee for these services is $15,160, as outlined in Ihe attached table. Upon receiving your authorization to proceed, we anticipate that Tasks 1 and 2 can be completed in approximately three weeks. A copy of our written report can be available for your review approximately one to two weeks after we receive the results of chemical. analyses on the samples. We therefore anticipate that the scope of work described herein can be completed in four to five weeks. H you agree with the scope of services and fee estimate. please return a signed copy of the enclosed Service Agreement to our office as our authorization to proceed.
