JI,- Iv <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~ day of <br /> <br />M-' 1998, by and between the SOUTH BAYS IDE SYSTEM <br /> <br />AUTHORITY, a public entity ("Authority") and the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Authority is a public entity established by joint Exercise of <br /> <br />Powers Agreement entered into by and among the Cities of Belmont, San <br /> <br />Carlos, and Redwood City, California, and the West Bay Sanitary District <br /> <br />pursuant to the provisions of Government Code Section 6500, et seq., for the <br /> <br />purpose of operating, maintaining, and owning sanitary sewerage transmission, <br /> <br />pumping, treatment, and disposal facilities for the sewerage service areas of its <br /> <br />member agencies; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City, in the performance of its municipal functions, provides <br /> <br />computer network administration and maintenance services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Authority requires such services for the operation and <br /> <br />maintenance of its computer systems; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS; City represents that it is qualified to furnish such services in <br /> <br />accordance with the terms and conditions hereof; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />Agmt-136 <br />F :/shared/Redwood/Council <br />DES:djk <br />12/29/97 <br />01/16/98R <br /> <br />1 <br />
