<br />ORiGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />ARCHITECTURAL SCHEMATIC DESIGN SERVICES - HERKNER AND <br />HOOVER POOL RENOVATIONS <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this J!J~ day of <br />#/lIll,<A ,1997, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City") and WINGES <br /> <br />ARCHITECTURE AND PLANNING, of Burlingame, California ("Architect"); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires schematic design services for the repair and <br /> <br />renovation of Herkner and Hoover Pools in the City of Redwood City (the <br /> <br />"Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires architectural <br /> <br />design services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Architect represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br /> <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />ARCHITECT'S SERVICES. Architect shall review, prepare and <br /> <br />perform architectural design and related services described in Exhibit "A" hereof, <br /> <br />attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. COMPENSATION: EXPENSES: PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br /> <br />Architect or all services performed by Architect hereunder in an amount based <br /> <br />upon Architect's hourly rates that are prevailing during the time of the <br /> <br />performance of said services.
