. 3�= -/ <br /> ����� � <br /> � <br /> To th� Ha�nc�rai�te Il�a���� a�nd-Gity�Coun�� ' <br /> ' Fratn�tt��C�� Manage� � <br /> January 10, 2000 ' <br /> Subject <br /> Revocable Encroachment Permit— Oracle Corporation <br /> Engineering File No. 805-04 <br /> Recommendation <br /> Adopt a resolution approving and authorizing the execution of a grant of revocable <br /> encroachment permit for the construction of communication underground conduifs <br /> within the public right-of-way in Oracle Parkway. <br /> Background , <br /> Oracle Corporation is proposing a communication conduit across Oracle Parkway to <br /> provide connection between their buildings. There is adequate room for their <br /> installation, and they will not interFere with existing utilities. <br /> Staff recommends the approval of the revocable encroachment permit with the following <br /> conditions: <br /> 1. That the Permittee shall relocate the conduits at City's request in case of <br /> interference with future City-owned utility installations <br /> 2. That the Permittee assume full responsibility for the construction and <br /> maintenance of the underground conduits with communication lines. <br /> 3. That the Permittee assume full liability for the area subject to the revocable <br /> encroachment permit, and provide liability insurance satisfactory to the City <br /> Attorney. <br /> 4. That, if the encroachment permit is revoked, the Permittee will remove all <br /> improvements within the boundaries of the public right-of-way to the satisfaction <br /> of the City. <br /> 5. That the City of Redwood City reserves the right to have unlimited access to the <br /> areas which are subject to the revocable encroachment permit. <br /> __ <br />
