�3,�3 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF FIRST AMENDMENT TO FUNDING <br /> AGREEMENT FOR WOODSIDE ROAD WIDENING <br /> PROJECT <br /> (SAN MATEO COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY) <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and the San Mateo County <br /> Transportation Authority ("Authority") entered into that certain agreement entitled, <br /> "Funding Agreement" dated September 28, 1998, for preparation of a Project <br /> Study Report for the addition of one lane in each direction of travel on Woodside <br /> Road between EI Camino Real and Broadway in the City of Redwood City (the <br /> "Project"); and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the Funding Agreement, the Authority agreed to <br /> contribute funds not to exceed $158,000 toward completion of the Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, additional funds are required to complete the Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, Authority has authorized allocation of an additional $43,400 <br /> for the Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, City and Authority desire to amend the Funding Agreement to <br /> provide for the aforesaid additional allocation; <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1.
