� <br /> (�.�-J <br /> FIRST AMENDMENT TO FUNDING AGREEMENT <br /> This First Amendment to Funding Agreement ("First Amendment") is entered into the <br /> _day of December, 1999 by and between the San Mateo County Transportation Authority, a <br /> public agency ("Authority"), and the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation("City") <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. The parties entered into a Funding Agreement dated , 1998 ("Agreement") <br /> providing for the completion of a Project Study Report for addition of one lane in each direction <br /> of travel on Woodside Road between El Camino Real and Broadway in the City. Pursuant to the <br /> Agreement, the Authority agreed to contribute up to $158,000 toward completion ofthe Project <br /> ("Authority Allocation"). <br /> B. The Authority, by Resolution No. 1999-22, authorized the allocation of an additional <br /> $43,400 to fund completion of the Project. The parties now desire to amend the Agreement to <br /> reflect the foregoing and related understandings. <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing, the parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. Authority's Contribution. Authority's financial contribution to the Project hereby is <br /> increased by an additional $43,400 for a total Authority financial contribution to the Project of <br /> up to $201,400. Expenditure of additional amounts shall be made subject to and in accordance <br /> with the terms and conditions of the Agreement. <br /> 2. Terms:E�ect. All capitalized terms in this Amendment shall have the meanings <br /> established for them in the Agreement.
