<br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15.4 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1130, <br />THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE RELATING TO CG <br />(GENERAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT <br /> <br />THE COUNCil OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOllOWS: <br /> <br />1. Section 1. Section 15.4 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 15.4. Conditional Uses. The following uses are permitted in the CG <br /> <br />District subject to first securing a use permit therefor. <br /> <br />Ord-100 <br />f/sh/sh/RC/Council <br />FXS:rg <br />01/18/00 <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />Public or quasi-public uses. <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />Automobile service stations, cabinet shops, electrical, plumbing, or <br />heating shops, sheet metal shops, upholstery shops, bakeries, <br />crèameries, bottling plants, laundries, and cleaning and dyeing <br />establishments, so long as any activities or operations connected <br />therewith which are normally capable of creating noise, odor, glare, or <br />dust are located wholly within a completely enclosed building or room <br />having no exterior entrance within 50 feet of any street or adjacent <br />property unless such entranc~ is completely shielded by part of the <br />building from such street or adjacent property. <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />Animal hospitals, veterinary <br />soundproofed kennels. <br /> <br />enclosed, <br /> <br />clinics, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />completely <br /> <br />d. <br /> <br />Commercial recreation facilities, including, but not limited -to, swimming <br />pools, bowling alleys, skating rinks, golf-driving ranges, and dance halls. <br /> <br />e. <br /> <br />Bars, restaurants, catering establishments, and drive-in <br />establishments, including the sale of alcoholic beverages. <br /> <br />eating <br /> <br />f. <br /> <br />Lumber yards, building material sales yards, and public utility service and <br />corporation yards.
