<br />Over the past few weeks, we have had several discussions with the union on the proposed job <br />specifications and they are in agreement. Further discussion will take place regarding how the <br />classifications are utilized within the library. The proposed job specifications and salary ranges are <br />attached (Exhibits A and B). <br /> <br />Fiscal Impact <br />There is no negative fiscal impact because: 1) there is no salary change in the existing outreach <br />classification (Library Outreach Specialist); and 2) we are replacing the existing funded vacant <br />position of Library Services Supervisor with the Senior Library Outreach Specialist, which has a lower <br />range of salary. The supervisory responsibilities of the existing vacant supervisory position will <br />transfer to an existing Division Manager.
