<br />~ß i <br /> <br /> <br />February 7,2000 <br /> <br />Subject <br />Final Acceptance - Reimbursement Agreement for Relocating WorldCom Fiber Optic <br />Cable Systems for the Jefferson Avenue Underpass Project <br />Engineering File No. 1602-05 <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Accept the Relocation of WorldCom Fiber Optic Cable System as part of the Jefferson <br />Avenue Underpass Project. <br /> <br />-:,-,:°_'0': <br /> <br />Background' <br />On February 26, 1996, by Resolution No. 12702 City Council approved Reimbursement <br />Agreement relocating WorldCom's fiber optic system due to the construction of the <br />Jefferson Avenue Underpass Project. The work has been satisfactory completed in two <br />phases and accepted by the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board and staff. <br />WorldCom submitted a detailed invoice to the City for $18,405.72. <br /> <br />This agreement was one of three separate Reimbursement Agreements executed with <br />fiber optic companies.
