<br /> <br />February 7, 2000 <br /> <br />Subject <br />Final Acceptance - Main Library Electrical Modifications Project <br />Engineering File No. 803-02 <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Accept the improvements for the Main Library Electrical Modifications Project, and <br />authorize the release of bonds. <br /> <br />Background: <br />As a result of the increasing need for additional computer terminals in the Library, there <br />were five (5) areas within the Library that were chosen for an expansion of electrical <br />and data cabling to provide the required outlets for additional terminals. Those areas <br />were: <br /> <br />. Project Read <br />. 2nd Floor <br />. . 1 sl Floor Children's Area, Homework Room <br />. The Map Room <br />. The Periodicals Area <br /> <br />The work was completed by Pacheco Utility Line Builders, Inc. of Menlo Park, California <br />for an amount of $25,270.
