In order to achieve a consensus on which of the Objectives are most <br />important, please rate the Objectives listed below each Priority Area in your order of <br />importance. <br /> <br /> <br />Give the highest priority a 1, the second priority a 2 and so forth. Please use whole <br />numbers only. Each objective will be totaled. The "lowest" total will equate to the <br />highest priority. <br /> <br />After school programs (collaborate with schools, grants, etc.) (BP) <br /> <br />Design framework to provide after school program at all schools & non-profit agencies for <br />artslmusiclhomework. Schaberg Ubrary, Taft, Garfield, McKinley & Hoover have after school programs <br /> <br />Seed dollars (collaborate projects - music art in schools) (BP) <br />Share supporUsponsorship for school curriculum (art and music) <br /> <br />PAL facility to be shared with others (new building) (JH) <br />Buy, build or share existing facility with School District, non-profits or others <br /> <br />Increase playing fields (review and explore Canada College joint venture to <br />provide additional fields) (RSC) <br /> <br />Taft & Garfield School fields will be completed in next 2 years. Hoover and Fair Oaks <br /> <br />fields will be proposed in Capital budget <br /> <br />Completion of media center I libraries (IR) <br /> <br />Monitor program to ensure completion of the program <br /> <br />Childcare facilities and programs (1 - 5 years) (RCS) Facilitate more access to childcare <br />programs. City provides infant childcare at Fair Oaks CIr, after school & summer day care at <br />Red Morton CIr & Sandpiper CIr. School District provides some daycare for low income <br /> <br /> <br />Homework centers (after school) (IR) <br /> <br />Partner with the schools & non-profits to use multi-purpose rooms & media centers. <br /> <br />Centers are located at Hoover, McKinley, Taft & Red Morton Center <br />Library I middle I high school childcare partnership wI community center <br />Redwood Shores (CJ) <br /> <br />Location - City parcel at Marine/Bridge Parkways <br /> <br />Transit Oriented Development programs and land use planning (JH) <br />Explore additional funding from CCAG for more residential development that would <br />be near public transportation <br />Bayfront expressway (RSC) <br />Highway frontage roadway from Marsh Road to Woodside Road <br /> <br />Promote many forms of public transportation, e.g.,bus, train, ferry, be proactive (DH) <br />Collaborate & be proactive with local & regional agencies.
