<br />Sß'Z <br /> <br />This agreement covers work to be done during the 2000-2001 season. It is to be the <br />second season of a 5-year program. Although no actual effort was put into trapping, <br />resources were spent on meetings and research associated with the special interest <br />groups' requests. An evaluation of the situation will be made at the conclusion of each <br />season. The program can be terminated before the 5 years, if the agencies concur. <br />The termination will depend largely upon how healthy the endangered species become, <br />and how many new predators become introduced to the area in the upcoming years, <br />due to new development. <br /> <br />A complete copy of the agreement is available for review in the office of the City Clerk. <br /> <br />Fiscal Impacts <br />Funds for this agreement are appropriated in the 1999-2000 GID 1-64 budget under the <br />Capital Improvement Program, Levee System in the amount of $60,000. Last year's <br />agreement was in the amount of $46,286; this agreement is in the amount of $48,134. <br />Because no trapping activity was carried out last year, there is a balance of $38,571 <br />unspent from last year. Funds have also been budgeted for three additional years, also <br />amounting to $60,000 per year.
