<br />s£s <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING ENGINEERING - <br />SA YSHORE ROAD WIDENING PROJECT <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />, 1998, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and NOLTE AND <br /> <br />ASSOCIATES, INC. of San Jose, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires the widening of Bayshore Road between <br /> <br />Whipple Avenue and the entrance to Century Park Theaters in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br /> <br />consulting engineering services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and <br /> <br />is qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform consulting <br /> <br />engineering and related services described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto <br /> <br />and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. COMPENSATION: EXPENSES; PAYMENT.
