<br />~ -:f" ~ <br /> <br />City of Redwood City <br />Grant Agreement No. 99-037 <br />Page 10 <br /> <br />ASSIGNMENT <br /> <br />Without the written consent of the State, this agreement is not assignable by the grantee in whole <br />or in part. <br /> <br />TIMELINESS <br /> <br />Time is of the essence in this agreement. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE OFFICER'S DESIGNEE <br /> <br />The Executive Officer shall designate a Conservancy project manager who shall have authority to <br />act on behalf of the Executive Officer with respect to this agreement. The Executive Officer shall <br />notify the grantee of the designation in writing. <br /> <br />AMENDMENT <br /> <br />Except as expressly provided in this agreement, no changes in this agreement shall be valid unless <br />made in writing and signed by the parties to the agreement.
