<br />3G--lb <br /> <br />Retrieval Services. <br /> <br />City shall, by and through Contractor, provide the <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />following services for Participating Owner: <br /> <br />(a) General. Contractor's general scope of services includes locating, identifying, <br />retrieving, and returning to Participating Owner Abandoned Shopping Carts <br />which are identified as belonging to Participating Owner. The following practices <br />and procedures shall govern the services. <br /> <br />(b) Dailv Searches. Except for Holidays, Contractor shall provide daily searches <br />(7 days per week) of the Service Area between the hours of 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. for <br />Abandoned Shopping Carts. Contractor shall perform said searches throughout <br />the Service Area in such zones as Contractor shall designate, with not less than <br />three (3) vehicles operating concurrently during all search hours. <br /> <br />(c) Receipt. Contractor shall obtain a receipt, signed by, or on behalf of, <br />Participating Owner, listing the number of carts delivered to Participating Owner <br />and the date of delivery. <br /> <br />(d) Logs. Contractor shall prepare and maintain retrieval logs conforming to the <br />delivery of retrieved Abandoned Shopping Carts to Participating Owner. <br /> <br />(e) Production Summaries. Contractor shall, using the information contained in the <br />aforementioned logs, prepare and maintain periodic production summaries on a <br />weekly and monthly basis, which shall include the number of Shopping Carts <br />retrieved for and returned to Participating Owner per day, per week, and per <br />month for each reporting period. <br /> <br />(f) Sanitation. Contractor shall dispose of all refuse or other solid wastes and <br />discarded items on or within Participating Owner's Abandoned Shopping Carts in <br />solid waste receptacles at the City's Center; provided, that hazardous waste shall <br />be delivered to governmentally approved hazardous waste disposal sites. <br />Contractor shall place such solid waste in appropriate bags or other receptacles <br />upon retrieving the Shopping Cart containing such waste. <br /> <br />3. Compensation. (a) Rate.
