<br />31-3 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR RELOCATING ROSENER HOUSE <br />(ADUL T DAY SUPPORT SERVICES FOR REDWOOD CITY <br />SENIORS) <br /> <br />(pENINSULA VOLUNTEERS, INC.) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Peninsula Volunteers, Inc., (Contractor) conducts an adult day <br /> <br />support services for seniors of the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the existing building will be demolished and the program must <br /> <br />relocate from its current site; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contrac~or has requested financial assistance in ~rder to relocate <br /> <br />the Program commencing April 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Twenty Thousand and NollOO Dollars ($20,000.00) <br /> <br />from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br /> <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />...,...- <br />
