<br />~L-4 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to and reviewed by this Council <br /> <br />that certain easement and covenants agreement by and between RSOA and the <br /> <br />City pursuant to which the City shall provide $160,000.00 from the aforesaid GID <br /> <br />1-64 fund to RSOA for reconstruction and repair of the boat ramp and related <br /> <br />facilities, in return for which the City shall acquire an easement for use of the <br /> <br />boat ramp for routine and emergency lagoon maintenance purposes and shall <br /> <br />have certain rights to conduct a City sponsored event on RSOA's properties; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Finance, acting as City Assessor, has <br /> <br />determined that the value of the interests to be received by the City under the <br /> <br />aforesaid agreement equals or exceeds the costs to be incurred by the City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCil OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOllOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Easement and Covenants Agreement" <br /> <br />(form dated 02/11/00), by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California, and Redwood Shores Owners Association, <br /> <br />a California non-profit mutual benefit corporation, the terms of which are <br /> <br />generally described above, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br /> <br />the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full part!culars <br /> <br />thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby <br /> <br />Reso-848 <br />F: \shared\redwood\council <br />DES:djk <br />03/22/00 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />'-,... - <br />
