<br />3D-I, <br /> <br />include, but are not limited to, pension, vacation, paid holidays, group life insurance, <br /> <br />sickness and accident insurance, and hospitalization insurance. <br /> <br />4. INSURANCE. General. The Contractor shall not commence any work until <br /> <br />he obtains, at his own expense, all required insurance. Such insurance shall have the <br /> <br />approval of the City as to limit, form and amount. The Contractor shall not permit any <br /> <br />subcontractor to commence work on this project until the same insurance requirements <br /> <br />have been complied with by such subcontractor. <br /> <br />Companies writing insurance for the Contractor shall be licensed to do business <br /> <br />in the State of California or be permitted to do business under the Surplus Line Law of <br /> <br />the State of California. <br /> <br />Contractor shall take out, pay for, and maintain throughout the duration of this <br /> <br />Contract the following insurance coverage: <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />Commercial and Automobile Liability Insurance. This insurance <br /> <br />shall protect the Contractor from claims for bodily injury and property damage which <br />may arise because of the nature of the work or from operations under this Contract. <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Type of Coverage. This policy of insurance shall name the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, its Council, commissions, boards, officers, employees, and <br /> <br />agents as additional insureds. This policy shall provide coverage to each of the <br /> <br />said insureds with respect to said work.
