<br />-- <br /> <br />~ 3,1 <br /> <br />REPORT <br /> <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br /> <br />April 10,2000 <br /> <br />Subject <br />Internal Alignment for certain Executive Management salary range. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />That City Council approve the resolution authorizing the salary range increase to the <br />Executive Management classification of Finance Director, as outlined below, in order to <br />comply with the with Executive Management Benefits Summary, Section III <br />I nternal/External Alignment. <br /> <br />Effective Date 10-11-99 <br /> <br />Increase <br /> <br />Finance Director <br /> <br />3.43% (309.00mo.) <br /> <br />Background <br />As per the Executive Management Benefits Plan, it is required that a minimum differential <br />of 10% above the top step on subordinate classifications be maintained. Due to recent <br />salary adjustment to the Information Technology Manager classification (effective 10-11- <br />99) this differential no longer exists.
