A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AMENDING RESOLUTION NOS. 13849 AND 13850 RELATING TO CITY OF REDWOOD CITY COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 2000-1 (PACIFIC SHORES PROJECT) WHEREAS, it is proposed to establish a community facilities district within the City of Redwood City under the terms of the Community Facilities Act of 1982, Chapter 2.5 of Part 1 of Division 2 of Title 5 of the California Government Code, commencing with Section 53311, to be known as "City of Redwood City Community Facilities District No. 2000-1 (Pacific Shores Project)" (the "CFD"); and WHEREAS, in connection with the initiation of proceedings to fonn of the CFD, the City Council, on March 13,2000, adopted Resolution No. 13849 and 13850 (collectively, the "Initial Resolutions"); and WHEREAS, the Initial Resolutions provided for a public hearing to be held on April 17 regarding the proposed fonnation of the CFD and the issuance of bonds secured by a special tax to be levied in the CFD; and WHEREAS, The City Council now desires to hold such public hearing on April 24, at the same place and time as set forth in the Initial Resolutions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: 1. The above recitals are true and correct. 2. The Initial Resolutions and attachments thereto are hereby amended to change the references therein fÌ'om April 17 to April 24. . 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to have the Notice of Public Hearing attached to Resolution No. 13849 published once in The Redwood City Almanac no later than April 13, 2000. 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to mail by first-class mail a copy of the Notice of Public Hearing to the property owners within the CFD no later than April 7, 2000.
