It is the intention of this City Council that any bands issued maq be made cailable <br /> on terms to be specified in any resolution providing for the form, execution and issuance of <br /> bonds, in accordance with the terms of the Mello-Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982. <br /> 9. T'he question of the authorization to issue the bonds described herein shall be <br /> submitted to the qualified electors within the District for a vote in accordance with the Mello- <br /> Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982 and in accordance with the fmdings contained in the <br /> Certificate of Developer heretofore filed in these proceedings. - <br /> 10. The City Clerk is hereby designated as the official to conduct the special, mailed- <br /> ballot election pursuant to Elections Code Sections 307 and 320. <br /> 11. The special community facilities district election shall be conducted by mailed <br /> ballot. In order to be counted, ballots must be returned to, and be physically received by, the <br /> City Clerk before the end of the public hearing on April 24, 2000. If all authorized ballots are <br /> received by the City Clerk prior to that time, the City Clerk shall, pursuant to Government Code <br /> section 53326(d), immediately close the election and declaze the results. <br /> 12. The ballot language is as follows: <br /> Shall the City Council of the City of Redvvood City be authorized to <br /> issue up to $21,000,000 in one or more series of bonds, levy a special <br /> tax and finance public facilities and services by and through its City of <br /> Redwood City Community Facilities District No. 2000-1 (Pacific <br /> Shores Project), all as specified in its Resolution No.13850 <br /> � (Resolution Stating the Necessity to Incur Bonded Indebtedness), and <br /> shall the appropriations limit for the District for fiscal year 2000-2001 <br /> be established in accordance therewith? <br /> -2- <br />
