� . � � • 33 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT� OF REDWOOD CITY RESOLUTION NO. � RESOLUTION DECLARING ELECTION RESULTS OF CITY OF REDWOOD CITY COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 2000-1 (PACIFIC SHORES PROJECT) WHEREAS, the Council is conducting proceedings under and pursuant to the Mello- Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982, as amended �(the "Act"), to form the City of Redwood City Community Facilities District No. 2000-1 (Pacific Shores Project), City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, California (the "District"), to authorize the levy of special taxes upon the land within ttre District, and ta issue bo�n�s �n one or mcfre series secvred by said speciai taxes for the purposes of providing moneys for the construction and acquisition of improvements within the District; and WHEREAS the Council has adopted Resolution No. calling a special election within City of Redwood City Community Facilities District No. 2000-1 (Pacific Shores Project), City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, California (the "District"). NOW, TI�REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: 1. The City Council has received, reviewed and hereby accepts the City Clerk's Certificate Re: Election Results dated Aprii 24, 2000. � 2. The City Council hereby finds and declares that the ballot measure submitted to the voters of the land within the District pursuant to our Resolution No. (Resolution Calling Special Election) has been pas"sed and approved by at least two-thirds of the • voters within the District in accordance with Government Code Section 53328(a) and 53355. Therefore, the City Council declares that the special tax is lawfully authorized, and that the subject property within the District is subject to the special tax, and directs the City Clerk to cause a Notice of Special Tax Lien with respect to the property to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo. 195709_1 , __ . . �.. r _
