<br />~tS-/¿) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is to the mutual advantage of the parties that the <br /> <br />environmental review of the Project be completed in order to provide necessary <br /> <br />information for the negotiations conducted pursuant to the Agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the negotiation period under the Agreement must be <br /> <br />extended in order to accommodate the time required to complete the "aforesaid <br /> <br />environmental review; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARTIES AGREE AS FOllOWS: <br /> <br />1. AMENDMENT. Paragraph 1 (TERM/NEGOTIA TION PERIOD) of the <br /> <br />Agreement is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"1. TERM/NEGOTIA TION PERIOD. The term of this Agreement shall <br /> <br />commence upon the above date and expire October 31, 2000 (the <br /> <br />"Negotiation Period"). <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />EFFECT.
