Amendment to Contract with Fraser & Associates; <br /> <br />City Manager Everett explained this contract is to extend the eminent domain ability of the <br />Redevelopment Agency. <br /> <br />MIS HartnettIHoward to adopt RESOLUTION RD 00-46 APPROVING AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND FRASER & <br />ASSOCIATES FOR REDEVELOPMENT AND FINANCIAL CONSULTING <br />SERVICES; <br /> <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote. <br /> <br />6. GENERAL <br /> <br />A. Amendment to Disposition and Development Agreement DDA with Irvine Apartment <br />Communities (lAC) - Franklin Street Project; <br /> <br />Planning and Redevelopment Manager Church explained the background and that this item <br />is an acknowledgement that the Agency is aware of the agreement with lAC and the <br />Building Trades Council. <br /> <br />MIS Hartnett/Ira to adopt RESOLUTION RD 00-47 OF THE REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF THE SECOND AMENDMENT OF THE DISPOSITION AND <br />DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH IRVINE APARTMENT COMMUNITIES, L. P., <br />FOR THE FRANKLIN STREET PROJECT; <br /> <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote. <br /> <br />B. Extension for Term of Agreement for Exclusive Right to Negotiate with Western Innisfree <br />Ventures for the Proposed Downtown Retail-Cinema Project; <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Webb explained this is an extension of the Exclusive <br />Right to Negotiate, initially entered into on June 10, 1999. At that time the term was for 9 <br />months with an opportunity to extend by approval of the Executive Director of the Agency <br />for another 90 days. That has been done and that extension expires on June 30, 2000. <br />Because the EIR is not quite ready for public review, extension is requested in order to get <br />the public review process carried out and allow for Development and Disposition <br />Agreement negotiations.
